Certification built on fourteen traditions
A coach certification for the part of coaching that isn't on the training plan: loss, fear, pride, belonging, and what you say at the moment it matters. It runs inside the wisdom library.
How each tradition is taught
Read the stations
Twelve short stations per tradition, each one idea applied to sport.
Try it with your athletes
A field task for each module, done with the people you actually coach.
Work the cases
Situations where two readings look alike and call for opposite responses.
One real case, reviewed
You write up a real situation, and a person reviews it. Nothing is certified by a quiz alone.
Levels
Assessments open tradition by tradition. The first levels are built on these.
Built on the Desert Fathers ending: stillness, attention and the long middle of a season.
Adds the Aristotle and Mussar endings: habit, character and practical judgment.
Each ending is ten situations with no score. You read each one and choose a response; what counts is whether you can tell two similar situations apart.
Ask as a coach
Signed in as a coach, questions about someone in your care get the material written for the person who holds responsibility, not advice for a bystander.
A certificate with nothing private on it
Your public certificate shows your name, level, traditions and dates. Nothing about how you answered.
Progress that stays with you
Your place in the library is saved to your SportsFlow account, so you can pick up on any device.
Start with a question you're carrying.
The library answers in plain words and shows where the answer comes from.
