CurioCoreFlowbase and SportsFlow legal

Parent or Guardian Consent

Flowbase and SportsFlow · Version 1.0 · Effective {EFFECTIVE_DATE}

Your child has asked to use Flowbase, SportsFlow, or both, provided by CurioCore. Each has its own account. If your child uses both, this one approval covers both, and the same choices apply in each. Because your child is under 18, we need your approval first. Nothing about your child is stored until you approve.

1. What the Apps Do

Flowbase is for training and racing: workout logs, erg results, rankings and leagues, race results, club tools, boat reservations, highlight reels and club fundraising.

SportsFlow adds optional wellbeing check-ins and questionnaires, a daily readiness indicator, fitness device data and FlowCoach, an AI coaching assistant.

Neither app is a medical service or diagnoses anything. Neither is monitored 24 hours a day.

2. Who Can See What

Information Your child Coach Club Wellbeing Lead You Public
Training logs Yes Their own coaches No No No
Race results, rankings, league standings Yes Yes No Yes Yes. Name shown as you choose below
Wellbeing questionnaire answers Yes Never Never No No
Daily readiness indicator Yes Yes No No No
Wellbeing scores Yes Only if your child shares No No No

We keep wellbeing answers private from parents too. Young people answer honestly only when their answers are private, and honest answers are what make the check-ins useful. If a screening result shows your child may be struggling, the club's Wellbeing Lead decides whether to involve you, and does unless that would put your child at risk. Your child is told first.

Coaches may not use wellbeing information to decide selection or team places.

3. Your Choices

4. Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases made on your child's account are your responsibility. You can buy highlight reels and other items for your child without a subscription. App Store purchases can be controlled with Apple's Ask to Buy.

5. How Long We Keep Information

We keep your child's information while the account is open. Wellbeing answers are deleted when your child turns 18, or within 30 days after the account closes if sooner. Other information is deleted within 90 days after closure, except published race results, records we must keep by law, and safeguarding records a club keeps. We keep a record of this consent for 3 years after the account closes.

6. Your Rights

At any time you can review what we hold about your child, download it, correct it, delete it, change any choice above, or close the account. Use your guardian view or email {PRIVACY_EMAIL}. Withdrawing a required consent closes the account. Withdrawing an optional consent turns that feature off.

Emailed copies of messages sit in your own inbox, so deleting the account does not remove them from there.

7. Emergencies

If your child or anyone else is in danger, contact local emergency services. Crisis lines by country are in our Safeguarding Policy.

8. Declaration

By selecting Approve, I confirm that I am the athlete's parent or legal guardian with authority to give this consent, that I have read this form, and that I agree to the Terms of Service on the athlete's behalf. The Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Consumer Health Data Notice and Safeguarding Policy are available at {LEGAL_BASE}.

In the app, the parent or guardian enters their name, relationship to the athlete and email, then selects Approve or Decline.

Approval is completed through a confirmation link sent to your email address, which must be different from the athlete's. We record the version of this form, each choice made, your details and the time.
