Your fMRI research on hypnosis and our psychometric research on flow states converge on the same neural signatures Reduced Default Mode Network Your Hypnosis Research: In hypnosis, reduced connections between DLPFC and DMN — disconnect between actions and self-awareness. Our Flow Psychometrics: In flow, DMN suppression quiets the inner critic. Our FSR-36 measures readiness to enter this state. Enhanced Brain-Body Link Your Hypnosis Research: Increased DLPFC–insula connectivity — the brain processes and controls what's happening in the body. Our Flow Psychometrics: In flow, heightened interoception and body awareness. Our ZSR-36 tracks the regulation spectrum from hyperarousal to calm presence. Absorbed Attention Your Hypnosis Research: Decreased dorsal anterior cingulate — so absorbed you stop worrying about anything else. Our Flow Psychometrics: In flow, complete task absorption with effortless attention. Our EPAB measures the psychological architecture enabling this absorption.

The SportsFlow Psychometric Battery Validated instruments that quantify what your neuroimaging captures — deployed digitally at scale FSR-36 Flow State Readiness Measures capacity to enter absorptive, present-centered states — the same DMN suppression and attentional absorption your hypnosis fMRI documents. ZSR-36 Zen Score (Emotional Regulation) Captures the regulation spectrum from hyperarousal through calm presence. Tracks the brain-body integration your insula-DLPFC connectivity findings illuminate. MSI-30 MindScore Index (Mindfulness) 30-item mindfulness assessment across 5 contemplative domains with 70/30 psychometric-biometric blend. Measures the exact states Reveri induces: present-moment awareness, body sensing, cognitive defusion. EPAB Enhanced Performance Assessment Foundational psychological architecture — resilience, adaptability, cognitive flexibility — that enables both hypnotic responsiveness and flow entry. MR-40 Mental Readiness Psychological preparedness across cognitive, emotional, and motivational dimensions. Predicts who will respond to mind-body interventions and who needs more support.

Reveri + SportsFlow Closing the loop between intervention and measurement REVERI DELIVERS The Intervention Clinically validated self-hypnosis sessions targeting stress reduction, pain management, sleep, and focus. 84,000+ users across 283,000 sessions. SPORTSFLOW MEASURES The Outcome MindScore Index (MSI-30) administered before and after Reveri sessions — measuring shifts across the exact domains Reveri targets: present-moment awareness, body sensing, cognitive defusion, and contemplative depth. Plus FSR-36, ZSR-36, and EPAB for full-spectrum assessment. WEARABLES VALIDATE The Biomarkers HRV, sleep architecture, respiratory rate, and recovery data from WHOOP, Oura, and Garmin — physiological confirmation of psychometric and hypnotic state changes. → → Together: the first multi-modal system that delivers a mind-body intervention, measures its psychological impact, and validates it physiologically — in real time, at scale.

What This Enables for Reveri Outcome Measurement Move beyond session completion metrics. The MindScore Index (MSI-30) directly measures whether Reveri sessions shift users' mindfulness capacity across five domains — present-moment awareness, non-judgmental observation, cognitive defusion, body awareness, and contemplative depth — with a 70/30 psychometric-biometric blend. Responder Identification Our MR-40 and EPAB can predict which users will respond well to self-hypnosis and which need different modalities. Personalize Reveri's intervention pathway based on psychometric profile, not trial-and-error. Clinical Trial Infrastructure Validated psychometric endpoints (ePRO/eCOA) for clinical studies of Reveri's efficacy. FDA and pharma partners require validated outcome measures — our instruments provide them. Longitudinal Dose-Response Track psychometric change over weeks and months of Reveri use alongside wearable biomarkers. Establish dose-response curves: how many sessions produce measurable psychological and physiological shifts?

Three Populations, One Framework Athletes Flow states are the performance edge. SportsFlow's psychometrics are designed specifically to give youth athletes the tools to thrive — in sport and in life. Reveri's focus and stress protocols directly complement athletic training. Rowing, endurance, and team sport populations are natural cohorts. Clinical Your 40+ years of research in stress, pain, trauma, and psycho-oncology provide the clinical infrastructure. Our instruments add validated outcome measurement to Reveri's clinical applications. ePRO/eCOA delivery for pharma partnerships. Military You've studied trauma and stress physiology. Our instruments measure the resilience and regulation capacities that predict who thrives under sustained operational stress. WHOOP already partners with the US Army on wearable studies. DOD SBIR funding available.

Proposed Research Collaboration 01 Reveri Outcome Validation Administer SportsFlow battery before and after a 30-day Reveri protocol. Test whether self-hypnosis sessions produce measurable shifts in flow readiness, emotional regulation, and resilience — with concurrent wearable data. 02 Hypnotizability & Flow Readiness Correlate your Hypnotic Induction Profile (HIP) scores with FSR-36 and ZSR-36 scores. Test the hypothesis that hypnotizability and flow proneness share a common psychological substrate — the capacity for absorbed, present-centered awareness. 03 Neural Correlates Convergence fMRI study comparing brain activation during Reveri-guided hypnosis vs. athlete-reported flow states. Do the DMN suppression and insula-DLPFC connectivity changes your lab has documented appear in both conditions, predicted by SportsFlow scores? 04 Stress Inoculation in Youth Athletes Combine Reveri breathwork protocols with SportsFlow psychometric tracking in collegiate athletes. Measure whether mind-body training improves both competition performance and psychological wellbeing over a full season.

The Person Behind the Science Noah Wickliffe — Founder, MyoSport Inc. / SportsFlow.ai M.S. Exercise Physiology | Cal Men's Crew '93, Varsity 8+ (Stroke Seat) | USPTO Patent Holder At age 10, a life-threatening stroke changed everything. I woke up with the left side of my body permanently impaired — and a choice that would define the rest of my life. I chose movement. I chose the water. Through rowing, I learned that the body is not a limitation — it is a laboratory. I fought my way to the stroke seat of the Cal Men's Varsity 8+, not in spite of my impairment, but because of what it taught me about adaptation, presence, and the relationship between physical struggle and inner capacity. That experience became the foundation for every instrument I've built. The FSR-36 measures the flow states that carried me through thousands of meters when my left side wanted to quit. The ZSR-36 quantifies the emotional regulation I had to develop — not from a textbook, but from a lifetime of navigating a world that wasn't designed for my body. The EPAB captures the psychological architecture that lets a person not just endure adversity, but transform it into performance. I built SportsFlow specifically to give youth athletes these same tools — so that a 14-year-old rower or runner doesn't have to wait until adulthood to learn what took me decades to understand about presence, regulation, and inner capacity. I am also the father of two boys. My younger son Caden, 22, has a one-of-a-kind genetic disorder — he remains a wonderful mystery and brings warmth and joy to everyone he meets. He carries a deep connection to the divine and an unquantifiable intelligence that defies every standard metric. As his caregiver and conservator, I live the questions this research asks every single day: What does it mean to flourish when the standard metrics don't apply? That is not an abstract question for me. It is my life. And it is why I built these instruments — not just to measure human performance, but to measure what it means to be fully alive.

Let's Close the Loop Reveri delivers the intervention. SportsFlow measures the outcome. Wearables validate the physiology. Together, we build the first complete mind-body measurement system. Noah Wickliffe | MyoSport Inc. | SportsFlow.ai
